Eric LaMotte is a general internist working as a hospitalist, with responsibilities for medical student and resident education. After participating in the UW IM Residency Program's Clinician Educator pathway, he completed the SGIM TEACH Certificate Program and is enrolled in the CLIME Clinical Teaching Certificate Program. He leads the Internal Medicine residency program's Teaching Elective. Dr. LaMotte is interested in using the power of the web to disseminate teaching materials as free open-access MedEd, having experience in producing medical podcasts and creating a free online training simulator at pulsusparadoxus.com. Educational interests also include grading/assessment, and teaching patient communication skills.
