Putting AI to Work: New Possibilities in Academic Medicine
CLIME | Recorded September 26, 2025
In this CLIME Conversation Café, attendees explored how artificial intelligence is opening new possibilities for everyday work in medicine. Session leaders Joe Wilson, Lead User Experience Designer, GME, Learning Gateway, and Hadar Duman, MHI, Director of Accreditation, GME, demonstrated real projects from Graduate Medical Education, including how AI can speed up the Annual Program Evaluation (APE) review process, turn complex policies into clear answers through conversational bots, and create adaptive virtual patient encounters that tailor feedback to learners. The session concluded with an open discussion, where participants reflected on the practical and responsible ways AI might support their own work in academic medicine.
