Bradley Sharpe, MD
Dr. Brad Sharpe is a Professor of Clinical Medicine and clinician-educator in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF Health. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Stanford and his medical degree from Harvard, then completed his residency and chief residency at UCSF.
Brad has held multiple leadership roles at UCSF, including Division Chief of Hospital Medicine and Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. A passionate educator, he now focuses on clinical care and teaching, with interests in clinical problem-solving, medical literature, and pneumonia.
Nationally, he has served on several Society of Hospital Medicine committees, the SHM Board of Directors, and co-chaired the SGIM Academic Hospitalist Taskforce. He is also co-director of the Academic Hospitalist Academy, a national “boot camp” for early-career academic hospitalists.
