WIP Sessions

Time: 12:00 - 1:00pm, Pacific time

Location: Attendance can be in person (E-308 in the Health Science Building, Seattle) OR remotely through Zoom Conference. Lunch is provided to in-person attendees.

These are monthly sessions in which faculty from across departments present their educational research at any stage of development to other colleagues in a friendly, safe environment.

I think that the comments at the WIP were very helpful, as I was able to retool the paper and discuss its limitations with more detail. In retrospect I wish I had gone to the WIP meeting sooner as I think I could have revised the paper more significantly!

Regular participation builds a community of practice around educational scholarship and develops individual breadth and experience in research. Participants typically present their work and then have dedicated time for feedback from the group in order to develop an idea, refine a grant, or critique an abstract or manuscript.
